Heat Recovery Ventilation
We use a heat recovery ventilator to provide fresh air to our houses while recovering between 70% and 80% of the heat from the stale air it exhausts.
This device works much like a car radiator, preconditioning fresh outside air using the stale exhaust air. The heat recovery ventilator provides fresh air for the house and vents the bathrooms and kitchen at the same time. We have no unbalanced ventilation in our standard homes.
